WORKSHOP ABOUT THE ASSOCIATION OF SOUTHEAST ASIAN NATIONS (ASEAN)

The seminar is an approach and deepens TBUMP students’ understanding of ASEAN, in order to promote the international integrative movement in students in the integration of the country’s economy. In the workshop, students listened to history about the establishment and development of the Association. Furthermore, they also learned about prominent ASEAN’s activities in recent years and the meanings and purposes of the Association. Joining ASEAN with 10- members and the membership of ASEAN has helped all countries have significantly positive changes in all areas, including economy, culture and society etc. Besides, the ASEAN charter, organizational structures and other amazing information were also shared among the participants.

Being students in the new period of development and the future owners of our country, learning about international associations is an important and meaningful activity.  Students, with their power and youth, dreams and smart ability, will bring the country to integrate into the world economy and to make our country become powerful and prosperous as other countries in all over the world as Uncle Ho taught.
At the workshop, students also participated in the interesting discussions related to knowledge of ASEAN and played joyful games so as to deepen their knowledge of this association found in 1967.
