Youth Union of Thai Binh University of Medicine and Pharmacy participating the humanitarian examination and treatment program in Son Dong district, Bac Giang province

There was the participation of Dr. Vu Son, Deputy Director of TBUMP hospital, Mr. Trinh Thanh Vinh, Secretary of the Youth Union, Chairman of the Student Association, staff  of TBUMP hospital and lecturers, doctors of different departments of the university. This program was held to implement the Ministry of  Health's 2017 campaign on humanitarian examination and treatment and community health care with the theme "Joining hands for the community’s health". The Youth Union and the Student Association, under the direction of the university leaders, actively prepared and introduced healthy, skillful and experienced members to join the program.

Starting in the morning of August 4^th,2017, the group stopped in An Lap village and An Ba village, Son Dong District, Bac Giang Province. The members of the delegation received enthusiastic supports from leaders of the two villages in preparing infrastructure and arranging the order of the subjects to be examined. The group organized the preliminary examination of internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, ultrasound, counseling and distribution of free medicines for many children, elderly people and those who have contributed to the country. With the enthusiasm, activeness and youthfulness, the youth members and students effectively supported the teachers and  doctors throughout the program. The programme has given medicines to 765 subjects, 40 gifts for poor and disadvantaged children and difficult households with the total value of nearly 80 million dong.
This is the second time the group has returned to Bac Giang province to give humanitarian examination and treatment. The journey has brought the love, kindness of students and doctors of the university to the difficult families here. Under the leadership  of the Party Committee and the Managing Board, the Youth Union and the Student Union are always ready to perform and accomplish assigned works, especially the voluntary activities for the community and society.
