MUSIC NIGHT FESTIVAL WELCOMING THE FIRST-YEAR STUDENTS

On the evening of September 17th 2017, at the outdoor stage of the campus of Thai Binh University of Medicine and Pharmacy, the Youth Union and Students' Association organized the Music Night to welcome the first year students in this new school year 2017-2018.
Attending and guiding the programme were Ms. Dinh Thi Hoan, member of the Standing Committee, District Chief of the Delegation; Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duy Cuong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Rector of the School; Prof. Dr. Nguyen Quoc Tien; Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Bai, Vice Rector of the School; Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Chairman of the Trade Union, along with thepresence of many head teachers of departments, divisions; Leaders of the Youth Union of colleges and universities all over Thai Binh provice; Youth Union of provincial business agencies; representatives of sponsors; foreign language centres and more than 1,000 new students took part in the activity.
Mr. Trinh Thanh Vinh, Member of the Executive Board of the Youth Union, Secretary of the Youth Union, Chairman of the Students' Association, delivered the opening speech. By consent of the Party Committeeand Board of Management, Youth Union and School Students’ Association solemnly held the Music Night to welcome new students in 2017 - 2018 with the theme of “arousing passion” and with the aim of creating cultural and artistic playgrounds to cheer and encourage the students’movement of studying and practising. Especially, the programme is a gift that the current students in the school wanted to send to the new students with the desire of helping them quickly integrate into the new environment and continue to promote the heroic tradition of the school. Through nearly two months of elaborate preparation, with the participation of many clubs affiliating with the Students Union, especially the second year students, the music night with nearly 20 performances has brought a lot of emotion, flames of youth, passion and aspiration for the new generations to follow and promote the tradition of the seniors, then contribute to the development of the school, the Youth Union and the Students’ Association. The Secretary of the School’s Union would like to send sincere thanks to the leaders of the Party Committee, the Board of Directors, the support of the sponsors accompanying the program.

The music night began with the dancing performance "Dat Viet, echo of thousands years", which has encouraged the national self-esteem, praised the homeland of Vietnam, respected the elder generations sacrificing bravely to protect the territorial peace. Then the ethnic folk dance "Hương rừng" continued the emotional circuit, evoked vividcolours of the mountain people. Next, the play “modern-day Journey to the West” has brought a lot of fun to the audience with unique situations introducing the academic clubs. The songs Sau tất cả (after all), "Cupsong", "Bad boy" made new joys and showed the interest of love in student life. Exciting and bursting with modern dance"Mashup bánh trôi nước", "Rén rể", "Ngoại quốc", "Lạc trôi và Daddy" turned the current atmosphere into a really busy and bustling one. Finally with the voices from the Dance and Singing Club, the song "Linh thiêng Vietnam"and "Cảm ơn tình yêu" deposited the whole stage in the strong awareness of responsibilites for the nation, love and eagerly wanted to build and develop the country together.
At the program, Ocean Edu Language Center presented 200 scholarships to students and many meaningful gifts.
