HO CHI MINH COMMUNIST YOUTH UNION OF TBUMP ORGANIZED A VOLUNTARY MEDICAL EXAMINATION FOR PEOPLE AT DONG HOANG COMMUNE, TIEN HAI DISTRICT

Implementing the Youth Union’s activities and youths’ movements in the course 2017-2018 and responsing to celebrating 87th year Ho Chi Minh Youth Union’s Establishment Day under the directions of Communist Party, Management Board of TBUMP, the Youth Union of Thai Binh University Medicine and Phamarcy and Dong Hoang Commune organized a treatment day consulted and prescribed medicine freely for people here to improve health care on March 25th.

At 7:30 am, all members of the activity presented at the commune with an excited feeling. A lot of general doctors from departments like Surgery, Internal Medicine, Traumatology, Dianostic Imaging, Infectious Diseases,… and members of HCM Youth Union of TBUMP treated approximately 200 patients. Here, people were consulted and given some advice to maintain and increase health quality themselves. Besides, psychological problems were also considered so everyone could feel comfortable and friendly. Medicine packets for common diseases were freely given to people. Receiving the attention, care, and consulting from physicians, doctors and students in Youth Union, they felt peace of mind about their health and excited. Many thanks, handshakes were the most invaluable spiritual gifts, which would help medical staffs and Youth Union’s members more confident in the nearly future in the duty of servicing to country and people here.

Our team not only treated at medical headquarters but also came to each family to examine for some people who were incapable of moving to ward committee. It was just a small action of kindness but it contained all respects, love and meaning of the crowd to people in our country, simultaneously oaths as Uncle Ho taught.

At the meeting, M.S. Trinh Thanh Vinh, Secretary of HCM Communist Youth Union of TBUMP gave best wishes to all rural people and many thanks to local authorities for making conditions to help families. He also promised to keep on deploying more and more medical voluntary programs to improve people’s healths in community. To response to his sincerity, TBUMP’s students represent ting almost members of Youth Union also thanked to the caring of the group given to local people and hoped that our school would always develop on the right way and train more doctors being good at specialization and morality in the future for the country.

Besides organizing medical activities, our team visited and gave gifts to poor households, and appropriated families in the area; especially gave National Flag to marine people. This action was very meaningful and profound for them, helping them to be confident in their voyages.

This voluntary activity not only had cordiality and practical things for fishermen at Dong Hoang, simultaneously showed closed relation between physicians and local people but also burnt out the pride and brilliant traditions of Viet Nam Communist Party. They also contributed of building Young Impulse Force with braves and patriotisms. The activity helped students get a chance to approach patients and be aware of their responsibilities by themselves, then they will try their best to be a medical staff with high specialization and morality.
