FIRST BIRTHDAY OF TRADITIONAL MEDICINE CLUB

On the evening of Oct 10th, 2017, at the lecture hall 4.1, the Managing Board of Traditional Medicine Club held the first birthday party of the club.
There was the attendance of Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong, Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union, members of the Standing Committee and Secretariat of the Students’ Association, Dr. Do Quoc Huong, Head of Department of Traditional Medicine and lecturers of the Department, chairmen of the university’s clubs, teams, and large groups of students  of Traditional medicine. Giving a speech and summarizing the work of the school year 2016 - 2017, Le Thi Chinh, Vice Chairman of the Club expressed sincere thanks to the lecturers in the Standing Committee of  the Youth Union, Secretariat  of the Students’ Association for their close attention to the activities of the club and to traditional medicine lecturers for their specialization support. During the first year, Club has been actively contributing to the movement of students’ learning and creativeness. The club has also been a liable and interesting place for students of Traditional Medicine. There have been many academic presentations, competitions and positive exchanges with the Clubs of Traditional Medicine of universities all over the country. The club has successfully completed the tasks appointed by the Students’ Association and has been gradually promoting the diversity and stage-izing academic subjects. Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong (MSc), Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union congratulated the achievements of the club during the past school year. Although it has just been founded for one year, the Managing Board has overcome difficulties to well-maintain creative activities, attract members and spread the love of the subject. Ms. Hong emphasized the strengthening and maintaining regular meetings to promote diversification of exchanging work among members. The club also should participate more actively in activities and movements of Clubs of Traditional Medicine nationwide in order to promote the development of the club in the future. Dr Do Quoc Huong, Head of Department of Traditional Medicine graciously sent good wishes to the club. He showed his eagerness that in the past year the Club has achieved  a lot of success and constantly growing. He also noted that the connection between modern medicine and traditional medicine is important orientations for the current health care. Therefore, the club Managing Board needs to develop long-term plans focusing on renewing the approaches to Traditional medicine knowledge so that every member of the club would have more knowledge, practical application after graduation. At the Conference, the Secretariat of Student Association awarded certificates of merit to the Club and 20 members of the Club who have made great contributions to the Movement of Students’ Innovative Learning. At the same time the Decision to consolidate the Management Board of the academic year 2017 – 2018 was also announced and Le Thi Chinh became the Chairman of the Club.
