ACTIVITIES TO CELEBRATE TRADITIONAL NEW YEAR OF LAOTIAN AND CAMBODIAN STUDENTS

The celebration of Laotian and Cambodian New Year is an annual activity of the school, expressing the caring about living and studying life and encouraging students from Laos and Cambodia to strive to become good doctors for their countries. At the event, there were so many cultural activities of Laotian and Cambodian such as holy cotton thread tying ceremony, water throwing activities and traditional cultural exchange. Happiness and eagerness were doubled with the participation of many students of Vietnam. Friendship among students of three countries are significantly developed through traditional dances, national songs of the three countries. During Laotian and Cambodian traditional New Year, the self-governing team of the dormitory and the club of Enthusiastic Hearts joined in providing traffic safety and security assistance. The coming of the New Year also means that people become more mature and students of Laos and Cambodia at TBUMP would continue to practice, cultivate their knowledge, equip themselves with more necessary social skills to be able to become good students and good doctors later on. Hoping that Thaibinh University of Medicine and Pharmacy would be their second home with the most beautiful memories
