10th DELEGATES’ CONGRESS OF STUDENTS’ ASSOCIATION OF THAI BINH UNIVERSITY OF MEDICINE AND PHARMACY, TERM 2018-2020

The Congress had the attendance and direction of Ms. Chu Hong Minh - Vice president of Central Committee of Vietnam Students’ Association, Mr. Pham Trung Thanh -  Central Committee of Vietnam Students’ Association's Chief of Office, Ms. Dinh Thi Hoan - Deputy Secretary of Thai Binh's Youth Union - Standing Vice President of Vietnam Youth Federation in Thai Binh; representatives from Youth Union of other universities and colleges in Thai Binh, Youth Union of Province's Department of Public Security, soldiers of Provincial Border Defense Forces and Military Command Board. The university representatives were  People's Teacher, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Nang Trong - Party Secretary and Rector of TBUMP; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duy Cuong - Deputy Party Secretary and Vice-rector of TBUMP, together with cadres in Party Committee and Board of Management; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Binh - Trade Union's President; Dr. Vu Trung Kien - Vice President of TBUMP's Veteran Association; together with lecturers as heads, deputy heads of departments, centers; former lecturers as secretaries, deputy secretaries of the Youth Union, presidents and vice-presidents of Students' Association through different periods; all the comrades in the Executive Committee of the Youth Union and 180 official delegates representing nearly 6000 students in TBUMP.   At the Congress, the delegates attending the Congress elected the Executive Board of the 10th Students' Association, the term of 2018-2020. The Executive Board consists of 20 comrades (for the absence of one). All of them are excellent students at TBUMP. At the first conference of the 10^th Executive Committee of the Students' Association, the Executive Committee of the Students' Association trusted and elected Mr. Trinh Thanh Vinh - Lecturer of the Surgery Department as Chairman of the Students' Association. At the conference, 02 Vice Chairmen of the Students' Association were elected. They were Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong - Lecturer of Management of Pharmaceutical Economy Department, Mr. Nguyen Van Binh - student of YHDP4 - K9. The conference also elected the Head of the Inspection Committee who was Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong.
In order to build a direction for the activities of the Students' Association in the next term, the delegates attending the Congress had a lively discussion, analyzing the achievements and weaknesses that need to be improved, in which the speeches on the "Students of 5 good merits" movement, the "Students volunteer for community life" movement and the student movement on scientific research were presented by participants in detail concretely, practically and suitably for today TBUMP's students. In the last term, with the attention and support of the Central Committee of Vietnam Students’ Association, the Party Committee and the Board of Management, the Students' Association has successfully completed the assigned tasks. At the Congress, the Central Committee of Vietnam Students' Association decided to confer the title of "Excellent Unit in Association Work and Student Movement" for the term of 2015 - 2018 on the Students' Association of TBUMP and gave certificates of merit for 5 individuals with excellent performance.              Speaking at the Congress, Ms. Chu Hong Minh - Vice President of the Central Committee of Vietnam Students' Association acknowledged and congratulated the achievements of the Students' Association in the last term. Simultaneously, the Vice Chairman emphasized the weaknesses in order that the Students' Association of TBUMP should have specific solutions to develop the student movements in TBUMP in next term. On behalf of the TBUMP's Party Committee and Board of Management, Assoc.Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duy Cuong - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice Rector appreciated the slogan proposed by the Congress for the Association's Work and the Student Movement in the new period. The TBUMP's Party Committee and Board of Management also acknowledged the contributions of the Students' Association in the Association's Work and the Student Movement over the past time and always put their trust in the Students' Association in the new period. Also, he proposed that the Students' Association should continue working closely with the Youth Union to successfully implement the Resolution of the Party Committee on youth work, contributing to the successful implementation of the school's development strategy.
            On behalf of the 10^th Executive Committee of Students' Association, Mr. Trinh Thanh Vinh - Chairman of the Students' Association has sincerely understood the guidance and adjustment by the Central Committee of Vietnam Students' Association, the School's Board of Management which were added to the Resolution of the 10^th Congress. With the excellent and enthusiastic members, the Executive Board of Students' Association determined to successfully implement the resolution of the Congress, in the organization and implementation of activities; create the environment for members, students to learn, train, and dedicate.
            The 10^th Delegate’s Congress of Students’ Association of TBUMP, term 2018-2020 is the Congress of bravery, wisdom, creativity, volunteerism, integration, and development. The decisions of the Congress showed the determination of Vietnamese students. The Congress called on all students of Thai Binh University of Medicine and Pharmacy to promote the glorious tradition of patriotic emulation, learning, creativity, voluntary integration, enthusiastic participation in the movement "Students of 5 good merits"; to build a strong Students' Association, actively training to become medical staffs that are both specialized and professional, contributing to the development of the university and the country.
